Earlobe Rejuvenation- You don't ever have to retire your favorite pair of earrings...
Just like the skin on the rest of our body, the earlobes change over time with aging and exposure to the sun. As collagen and elasticity decrease, the earlobes can become elongated and thin, with fine wrinkling on the surface. This can make it difficult to wear certain types of earrings due to lack of structural support around the post of the earring. The piercing hole may also become weak and stretched out or torn. Some scientists have even suggested you can tell the relative age of someone by the length of their earlobes.
In our cosmetic culture, earlobe rejuvenation is not uncommon and there are several options.
If your earlobes are of a generally good size and shape but your earrings are starting to droop, a good option is to use an injectable filler such as Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse or Evolence to plump them up and add support. This can be done on your lunch hour and you can continue to wear earrings immediately after the procedure.
If your earlobes are overly elongated, you can have them surgically shortened with a simple outpatient procedure. This is normally done under local anesthesia in the office with sutures left in place for about a week.
Earlobes with excessive wrinkling can be improved with either fractional or ablative skin resurfacing.

Laser stretch mark removal
Stretch marks are a common problem for many individuals. Stretch marks happen as a result of sudden enlargement of the skin tissues over a short period of time. This could be either due to pregnancy or sudden weight loss or gain due to strenuous exercise. There are many creams and lotions in the market but they are not completely effective.
Laser stretch mark removal
Laser stretch mark removal is an effective procedure to cure stretch marks. The procedure works in a simple but unique way. The laser surgeon uses a laser device which sends highly focused and intense rays of UV light. These focused laser beams are directed on the affected area of the skin. These rays of laser light affect the skin surrounding the stretch marks.
The lasers used for laser stretch mark removal are specially designed to treat stretch marks. Lasers used for laser stretch mark removal break the molecular bonds in the affected skin tissue. As the bonds break, it results in further disintegration of the tissue; this process is known as ablation. Once the treatment is complete, new skin tissue starts growing swiftly and new layers of skin start to be formed. The marks disappear and new elastic skin is formed.
Cost effective and result-oriented
Many people are worried that the laser stretch mark removal treatment will cost a lot of money. However, with advanced technology, the treatment has become cost-effective and comes with assured results. The number of sessions required will depend on the pervasiveness and the age of the marks. If the marks have been there for a long time, then many sessions will be required. If the marks have been newly formed, then two to six sessions is all that is required.

Laser treatment – Improving the quality of your skin
If you suffer from acne, then you must have tried different ointments to cure it. You must have seen hundreds of ads on the TV, all advertising different products to get rid of acne. You may also found that none of the treatments seem to be completely successful in treating your acne. However, you should have some amount of patience and learn more about acne before choosing any particular treatment.
What causes acne?
Acne commonly affects teenagers more than other people. This is because during puberty, a lot of hormonal changes take place in the body. In males, the hormone testosterone is converted into dihydrotesterone which is responsible for excessive oil production. The skin pores become blocked by this excess oil. As the skin pores are blocked, the skin cannot get rid of the dead skin cells from the body. These dead skin cells remain on the skin for a long time and lead to acne breakouts. It is observed that people who have oily skin tend to suffer from acne more than others. Excess oil in the skin is not the only reason for acne breakouts however. Bacteria and dirt present in the skin can also lead to acne.
Type of acne
Acne is of two different types – inflamed acne and non-inflamed acne. Non-inflamed acne is that which is termed as blackheads and whiteheads. When a skin pore gets clogged with dirt and bacteria, it is known as a whitehead. When this pore opens up, the oil present in the pore is oxidised which causes it to turn black. If the body is not able to get rid of the bacteria, it causes inflammation which eventually leads to acne.
Laser acne treatment
With laser acne treatment, the dirt causing bacteria are destroyed and the sebaceous glands are shrunk in size. Laser acne treatment is a painless procedure that thousands of people have benefited from in the India.

DIMPLE CREATION SURGERY- Get Dimply Cute Smile
In traditional Asian folklore, the presence of a dimple suggests good fortune and fertility, while in the West it is more simply viewed as a cute and unusual facial curiosity. For whatever reason, surgical creation of a dimple is an often mentioned form of Asian body modification, even though dimples seem to occur no more or less commonly in Asians than in others.
A dimple of the cheek skin is a soft tissue invagination that becomes prominent on facial animation or smiling. A natural dimple is usually formed when there is a small defect in the cheek musculature (most often the buccinator muscle). The skin overlying this small defect is stuck down to the underlying connective tissue and creates a dimple in the skin with facial animation (smiling).
Dimple creation surgery simulates this naturally occurring process. It can be performed on any kind or size of cheek, be it chubby or not. It would be easier if the cheeks are not too chubby. Dimples are usually located lateral to the lip commisure. You also can decide where the dimples should be, or you can have Dr Uddhav Patil decide with you where the most optimal place for the dimples should be on your face. So that it is aesthetically appealing and will compliment your facial features.
To create a dimple, a small incision is taken inside of your cheek. There is no incision or scar on the outside skin. An absorbable suture is passed through the inside of the cheek and catches the undersurface of the skin where the dimple is desired. When this suture is tied it causes a dimpling in the overlying skin. At first there is a dimple present even without smiling, but after several days, or sometimes a few weeks, the dimple is only present while smiling or moving the face. The internal scarring which takes place between the inner skin and muscle will create dimple when one smiles.
You will be awake and comfortable during the entire process. Special arrangements can be made if you would rather prefer to be asleep during the surgery. You can go home right away after the procedure and resume your usual activities.
There is usually minimal swelling for first two days, and the after care steps are just as simple and uncomplicated as the procedure. The after care usually involves regular mouth rinsing with Betadine oral antiseptic solution or Listerine mouthwash.
Usually there are no complications with dimple creation aside from a little bit of swelling and bruising but you need to take antibiotics for a couple of days after to prevent any infection.
Although the cheek is the usual place that patients might request a dimple, the chin is also a frequently requested site. It is possible to make chin dimples as well without any incisions on the outside skin.
Many patients state that one of their siblings or close friends have a dimple and they are happy to know that dimple surgery is available to give them that option as well.
Dimple creation surgery is a relatively easy painless way to form a dimple for those people who have always wanted one. Having created a dimple will it change your life or bring you better luck? That has not been scientifically proven. As with any other surgery that might change your appearance, Dr Uddhav Patil will speak to you in detail to make sure that dimple creation surgery is right for you.
