Dear Friends,
Seventh of July holds a very special place in the history of mankind.
We know that the energy source of entire life on Earth is Sun and the medium is Sunlight. Amongst all things known to us, it is the Light which is eternal. In spite of its tremendous speed it keeps on travelling for years together in the space. In fact the huge distances between stellar objects would not have been possible to measure if ‘Light Years’ were not invented.
Light in its natural form is being used for the benefit of living from ages together. The sun light is composed of SEVEN different colours as it gets separated as it passes through a prism or is seen in a rainbow. The characters of different colours, their effects on the human and animal mind are well documented. Even in ancient times coloured light has been used for healing certain elements, mainly related to psyche.
LASER: The Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation is the purest form of light. This process of separation and purification of light was invented by scientists over first six decades of 20th century. The idea of quantum theory was conceived by Max Plank in 1901. It was used by Albert Einstein to elucidate the paradoxical wave/particle duality of light itself in 1905. The reality of quantum was first confirmed experimentally by Arthur Compton in 1923 and the first direct observation of stimulated emission took place in 1926. By the end of the first quarter of the century, quantum theory was established and inspired the birth of quantum electrodynamics.
It was July 7, 1960 when in the laboratory of Theodore Maiman, FIRST LASER WAS BORN in the form of a Ruby Laser. Lasers are considered as one of the most important inventions of the 20th century which will have tremendous effect on the future of mankind.
Now whether you believe in numerology or not, at least believe in following facts:
1. Light is composed of SEVEN colours.
2. A single colour in its purest form is Laser.
3. LASER was invented on 7.7.1960 (1+9+6= 16, 1+6= again 7)
4. 7.7.7
5. In numerology, 7 is considered as holy and divine figure.

Benefits of the New Laser Procedure for Varicose Vein Treatment - Dr. Uddhav Patil
A varicose vein starts out as little more than a visual problem but it can lead, over time, to leg swelling, fatigue and pain. The reduced flow of blood to your legs causes your legs to tire quickly and often make them feel as heavy as lead weights. If left untreated the varicose vein can get serious to the point of causing leg ulcers, impaired walking, leg cramps and blood clots. Today, however, utilizing the latest laser technology, in many cases, much of that old surgical procedure can be a thing of the past.
There is really no preparation work required at all. It can be done as an outpatient procedure and generally takes less than an hour start to finish. The old surgical procedure often took 4 to 6 hours or more. Total anesthesia for the laser procedure is not required and there is only minimal pain. When everything is done there is no scarring. The incision to insert the laser is so small that there is no need for stitches. When the doctor is done with the laser there is really no recovery period at all. Vigorous physical activity is discouraged for the first day or two after laser treatment but generally you walk out of the outpatient facility and return to your normal daily activities immediately. There may be some minor itching and tenderness for a week or so afterwards but not enough to limit your activities. Sometimes you have to go back for a second or third follow up laser procedure to obtain complete resolution of the problem. Of course that will vary from individual to individual.
The technical name for this procedure is endovenous laser therapy. The laser used is very precise and delivers a very controlled dose of laser energy. The doctor will insert a very small thin laser fiber into your thigh. Even though your varicose vein shows up in your lower leg area the real cause of the problem is almost always a faulty valve in your upper leg. Once the laser is properly positioned in your upper leg he will activate the laser. The heat from the laser energy will cause the blood in that area of the vein to coagulate and close off the diseased varicose vein. This will cause the entire vein from there down into your lower leg to shrink and be absorbed back into your body. The number of veins in your legs is huge so the loss of the one varicose vein is not a problem for your circulatory system. The blood that normally would have gone through the diseased varicose vein will now go through other healthier veins.
This laser procedure has proven to be more than 96 percent effective at eliminating the problem with a varicose vein. So there is still a chance that you may have to undergo the old vein removal procedure. But your chances of solving a varicose vein problem quickly and easily with laser technology are better than ever before.

Happy Gudhi padwa - The beginning of New Year in Maharashtra
Gudi Padwa marks the beginning of New Year in Maharashtra, This festival is known as Gudi Padwa in Maharashtra Gudi Padwa signifies the beginning of Vasant or the Spring season. The word ‘padwa’ is derived from Pratipada, the first day of a lunar month or the first day after no-moon day (Amavasya). Gudi Padwa is specially dedicated to the worship of Lord Brahma. In Maharashtra, special flags known as ‘gudis’, also called ‘Brahmadhvaj’ or ‘the flag of Brahma’, are erected in honour of Lord Brahma.
A ‘gudi’ is a pole on the top of which an upturned brass or silver pot called a kalash is placed. The gudi is covered with a colourful silk cloth and decorated with marigold flowers, coconuts, and mango leaves that symbolise nature’s bounty. Gudi is worshipped by offering sandalwood paste, turmeric and vermilion. A popular belief is that the displaying of the gudi wards off evil and invites prosperity and good luck into the house.
People prepare for the New Year by cleaning and washing their houses and buying new clothes. On the festival day they decorate their houses with mango leaves and rangoli designs, and pray for a prosperous new year.In Maharashtra, it is reminiscent of the valiant Marathas returning home from their successful expeditions of war.

Happy New Year
Dear All,
Wish you “A Very Happy New Year”.
For last 8 years, ‘LakshyaKiran’ is providing world class Laser facilities in the field of Skin & Cosmetology in Southern Maharashtra, Northern Karnataka & Goa regions.
Our truly mobile laser unit ‘Laser on Wheels’ is the first of its kind in the country & has successfully completed 6 years. We were the first in the country to install world’s most powerful quality switched laser: ‘Q Plus B’ from Italy. Not only we are the region’s pioneer & full fledged Laser Center but also we strive hard to remain No.1 in service quality that too at an affordable cost.
Cool Touch Endo Venous Laser (CTEV) from USA is India’s First 1320nm Nd:YAG technology installed at LakshyaKiran 2 1/2 years back & till date it’s the only system in the country. On one hand, we have an ever increasing population having varicosities of leg veins, due to more sedentary life style coupled with lack of exercise. On the other hand there isn’t an effective surgical way to tackle the problem satisfactorily.
Endo Venous laser surgery started in late 1990s with Diode technology & has gone through 810, 940 & 980 nm wavelengths during its refinement. These wavelengths of Diode have strong affinity to de-oxy hemoglobin, therefore they heat blood & conducted heat reaching the vein wall leads to its damage and closure.
On the other hand, 1320 nm wavelength of the Nd:YAG laser is directly absorbed by the water content of the vein wall, almost bypassing the blood. Therefore, it very gently closes the vein without heating the blood. It is in fact, so gentle that the procedure is performed under local peri-venous anesthesia and the patient walks out of room at the end of the procedure.
I perform CTEV procedures in OT under continuous Color Doppler guidance from a specially trained sonologist. There are no sutures, only puncture marks & follow-up is limited to Doppler check up. This makes it convenient even for the patients who come from far away places.
I will be most happy to offer this service to your needy patients. Kindly spare a few minutes to log on http://www.varicoseclinic.com & to go through the
e-brochure attached. For your queries I am available on cell while your patients can get details on our 24X7 info line 94 2295 2295.
Thanking you,
Sincerely,
Dr. Uddhav A. Patil.
