DIMPLE CREATION SURGERY- Get Dimply Cute Smile

In traditional Asian folklore, the presence of a dimple suggests good fortune and fertility, while in the West it is more simply viewed as a cute and unusual facial curiosity. For whatever reason, surgical creation of a dimple is an often mentioned form of Asian body modification, even though dimples seem to occur no more or less commonly in Asians than in others.

A dimple of the cheek skin is a soft tissue invagination that becomes prominent on facial animation or smiling. A natural dimple is usually formed when there is a small defect in the cheek musculature (most often the buccinator muscle). The skin overlying this small defect is stuck down to the underlying connective tissue and creates a dimple in the skin with facial animation (smiling).

Dimple creation surgery simulates this naturally occurring process. It can be performed on any kind or size of cheek, be it chubby or not. It would be easier if the cheeks are not too chubby. Dimples are usually located lateral to the lip commisure. You also can decide where the dimples should be, or you can have Dr Uddhav Patil decide with you where the most optimal place for the dimples should be on your face. So that it is aesthetically appealing and will compliment your facial features.

To create a dimple, a small incision is taken inside of your cheek. There is no incision or scar on the outside skin. An absorbable suture is passed through the inside of the cheek and catches the undersurface of the skin where the dimple is desired. When this suture is tied it causes a dimpling in the overlying skin. At first there is a dimple present even without smiling, but after several days, or sometimes a few weeks, the dimple is only present while smiling or moving the face. The internal scarring which takes place between the inner skin and muscle will create dimple when one smiles.

You will be awake and comfortable during the entire process. Special arrangements can be made if you would rather prefer to be asleep during the surgery. You can go home right away after the procedure and resume your usual activities.

There is usually minimal swelling for first two days, and the after care steps are just as simple and uncomplicated as the procedure. The after care usually involves regular mouth rinsing with Betadine oral antiseptic solution or Listerine mouthwash.

Usually there are no complications with dimple creation aside from a little bit of swelling and bruising but you need to take antibiotics for a couple of days after to prevent any infection.

Although the cheek is the usual place that patients might request a dimple, the chin is also a frequently requested site. It is possible to make chin dimples as well without any incisions on the outside skin.

Many patients state that one of their siblings or close friends have a dimple and they are happy to know that dimple surgery is available to give them that option as well.

Dimple creation surgery is a relatively easy painless way to form a dimple for those people who have always wanted one. Having created a dimple will it change your life or bring you better luck? That has not been scientifically proven. As with any other surgery that might change your appearance, Dr Uddhav Patil will speak to you in detail to make sure that dimple creation surgery is right for you.

Laser Liposuction

Laser liposuction is a new technology in fat reduction that has been approved by the FDA as a method for removing fat in specific areas of the body. It seems that people no longer need to stick to the option of traditional liposuction.

Laser liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure used to remove fat in specific areas of the body. In this procedure a tiny cut is made on skin through which a 1mm diameter cannula is inserted. The laser tip of the instrument on coming into contact with the fat, heats and liquefies it. The melted fat can then be sucked out from the body immediately.

Prior to the removal of the fat, a cold laser is passed over each treatment site for 12 minutes. As this is a cold laser, there is no risk to the skin or surrounding tissue.

The laser liquefies the fat, allowing for easier removal and decreased procedure time. Other benefits of the laser liposuction, technique include decreased swelling and discomfort with a quicker recovery time. The patient should also notice more precise and aesthetically pleasing results.

The fats that are not removed from the body are simply flushed out through our lymphatic system. Laser intensity is low and can be adjusted as needed. A local anesthetic is all that is needed for laser liposuction.

Because this procedure is less invasive compared to other body sculpting procedures, there is only minimal bruising, scarring, tissue damage and pain. The incision is so tiny that it no longer needs to be stitched up. This means that the rate of recovery is faster. Patients can get back on their feet in a day or two.

Aside from melting fat, laser liposuction also promotes collagen production and tightens the skin. This is a great improvement compared to traditional liposuction. In traditional liposuction, some patients end up looking worse because of a lack of ideal skin elasticity. Some doctors may use laser liposuction after sessions of traditional liposuction to help tighten the skin.

Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is an abnormal enlargement of one or both breasts in men. It is related to the excess growth of breast tissue and fat tissue in a variable proportion rather than the breast tissue alone.Changes in the levels of male and female hormones, or in how the body uses or responds to these hormones can cause enlarged breasts in men. More than half of boys develop transitory gynecomastia of variable degrees during puberty.
Gynecomastia can be emotionally devastating. Feelings of embarrassment, humiliation and shame are common. One does not feel masculine in a society where masculinity is exalted. Self-hate threads itself through all aspects of the individual's life, creating an insidious web of powerlessness. A man or boy with gynecomastia struggles with anxiety over such simple acts as taking off his shirt at the swimming pool and beach.
For many men, the best solution is suction assisted liposculpture. That accomplishes step one of the healing. Step two is psychological redress as as childhood taunting to a lifetime of hating his chest, the hurt feelings have been deeply rooted in the mind.
Men who have developed gynecomastia later in life from steroid abuse or some other cause like prostate gland disease may have little to no psychological distress. However, for some in this situation, it can leave them feeling out of control of their body or emasculated in some matter. Hopefully, corrective surgery will resolve these feelings, for some it will not and therapy will be needed to relieve the distress.
It is important to recognize the scars on the inside. This is difficult work because it means coming to terms with one's body and past. Acknowledging the pain, moving into a new relationship with one's body and changing how he thinks the world sees him is the key to healing and freedom.
Men often have a very difficult time talking about their breasts to anyone, but it is the first step toward relief. Realizing that they are not alone is a powerful antidote for the shame and a beginning toward healing. We are here to help you in a best possible way available today in the world. Without any hesitation please contact us right away as this is our day to day job.

Laser Skin Treatment – Advantages and Disadvantages

Laser skin treatment  is becoming increasingly popular as it can be employed for many types of common skin problems Including unwanted facial hair, acne, sun damage, wrinkles and birthmarks.

The advantages of laser skin treatment far outweigh its disadvantages. It is good for people who want to get rid of unwanted hair on body and face, it does help to slow down their growth and also works well for removing thick and coarse hair, especially on the face.

The procedure of laser treatment has also been found to be effective for the cure of acne and wrinkles. Laser can be used anywhere on the body wherever the problem is. It is also safe to be used on the face. If you suffer from a sun-damaged skin, laser treatment will prove to be very helpful if all other treatments have failed you. If you have decided to go through laser skin treatment you should be prepared to expect slight skin redness and even slight burns if high energy is used or required for the treatment of your condition.

One of the disadvantages of laser treatment is that it is little expensive. Furthermore, many skin conditions would require multiple sessions for a complete cure. Although laser has been proven to be safe, some people still experience side effects like burns and skin rash. Topical medicines to reduce the effects of laser are prescribed to people undergoing this treatment.

The Benefits of Laser Therapy

• Non-Toxic

• Non-Invasive

• Easy to Apply

• No Side Effects or Pain

• Extremely Safe

• Cost Effective for Practitioner and Patient

• Highly Effective for Patient (>90% efficacy)

• Growing Acceptance of Laser Technology

• Superior Alternative to: Analgesics, NSAID’s, Other Medications, Other Modalities

• Reduces Need for Surgery

• Virtually No Contra-Indications

Therapeutic Laser Biological Effects

Rapid Cell Growth – Laser light accelerates cellular reproduction and growth.

Faster Wound Healing – Laser light stimulates fibroblast development and accelerates collagen synthesis in damaged tissue.

Increased Metabolic Activity – Higher outputs of specific enzymes, greater oxygen and food particle loads for blood cells and thus greater production of the basic food source for cells, Adenosine Tri-Phosphate (ATP).

Reduced Fibrous Tissue Formation – Laser light reduces the formation of scar tissue following tissue damage from: cuts, scratches, burns or post surgery.

Anti-Inflammatory Action – Laser light reduces swelling caused by bruising or inflammation of joints to give enhanced joint mobility.

Increased Vascular Activity – Laser light induces temporary vasodilatation increasing blood flow to damaged areas.

Stimulated Nerve Function – Slow recovery of nerve function in damaged tissue can result in “dead” limbs or numb areas. Laser light speeds the process of nerve cell reconnection to bring the numb areas back to life.

Happy Laser Day!

Dear Friends,

Seventh of July holds a very special place in the history of mankind.

We know that the energy source of entire life on Earth is Sun and the medium is Sunlight. Amongst all things known to us, it is the Light which is eternal. In spite of its tremendous speed it keeps on travelling for years together in the space. In fact the huge distances between stellar objects would not have been possible to measure if ‘Light Years’ were not invented.

Light in its natural form is being used for the benefit of living from ages together. The sun light is composed of SEVEN different colours as it gets separated as it passes through a prism or is seen in a rainbow. The characters of different colours, their effects on the human and animal mind are well documented. Even in ancient times coloured light has been used for healing certain elements, mainly related to psyche.

LASER: The Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation is the purest form of light. This process of separation and purification of light was invented by scientists over first six decades of 20th century. The idea of quantum theory was conceived by Max Plank in 1901. It was used by Albert Einstein to elucidate the paradoxical wave/particle duality of light itself in 1905. The reality of quantum was first confirmed experimentally by Arthur Compton in 1923 and the first direct observation of stimulated emission took place in 1926. By the end of the first quarter of the century, quantum theory was established and inspired the birth of quantum electrodynamics.

It was July 7, 1960 when in the laboratory of Theodore Maiman, FIRST LASER WAS BORN in the form of a Ruby Laser. Lasers are considered as one of the most important inventions of the 20th century which will have tremendous effect on the future of mankind.

Now whether you believe in numerology or not, at least believe in following facts:

1. Light is composed of SEVEN colours.

2. A single colour in its purest form is Laser.

3. LASER was invented on 7.7.1960 (1+9+6= 16, 1+6= again 7)

4. 7.7.7

5. In numerology, 7 is considered as holy and divine figure.

Facial Aesthetic Surgery - Facelift Surgery

Facelift surgery, or a rhytidectomy, is offered and is designed to restore a more youthful appearance by removing major wrinkles and sagging skin. It involves tightening of the facial and neck muscles as well as the removal of any excess skin.

The skin begins to wrinkle and sag as a result of age, sun exposure and genetics. Children and young adults have smooth, round faces due to evenly distributed fatty tissues in facial contours. Over time, the skin sags and folds around the chin, jawline and neck become prominent. Not only does a facelift improve facial appearance but also has a dramatic effect on the neck, enhancing its contour and profile.

Facelifts can make a patient look 10 to 15 years younger.

Dramatic as the end results are, this is not a simple procedure. It requires a week to 10 days of recovery.

Before Surgery
We will evaluate your medical history in order to determine your overall health.

Your plastic surgeon will discuss with you how your face can look and what you can expect from surgery. Our objective is to create a natural appearance that is pleasing to you. Before and After photographs will reveal what the surgery has accomplished.

Preoperative Instructions: Avoid drugs that contain aspirin several weeks prior to surgery to minimize excess bleeding. You may be required to take antibiotics to prevent infection. You may be instructed to shampoo your hair the night before surgery. A small amount of hair may be shaved around your ears and temples.

The Procedure
A facelift is frequently performed in conjunction with blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), forehead lift, chin augmentation, and/or liposuction, to create an overall rejuvenation of the face. The procedure can be repeated as gravity continues its effects after the first surgery.

Facelifts are performed in fully-accredited inpatient surgical centers. General anesthesia or intravenous sedation with laryngeal mask airway are most commonly used.

For an endoscopic midface lift, appropriate for patients in their mid-30's to 40's with midface aging but without much "jowling" (sagging over jawline).

For a facelift, appropriate for patients in their early 40's to 60's with aging in the lower face and neck, some plastic surgeons make incisions inside the hairline at the temple, in front of the ear, then around the earlobe and behind the ear, ending at the scalp area. Some plastic surgeons have developed a unique method of tailoring each facelift to the individual patient, lifting the deep fibromuscular layer of the face and tailoring the removal of skin in the most appropriate direction. This creates a natural rejuvenation that addresses the key signs of aging in each patient's face. The procedure may take up to 5 hours depending on whether any other procedures are performed at the same time.
